​The Curated team occupy Thornham Hall’s Old Coach House, the perfect backdrop for the start of your special day. Set in the beautiful tranquil grounds of Thornham Hall, the building is full of historical features. The south facing wall of the building is adorned with full height glazed doors flooding the building with natural light and leading to a spacious courtyard for the warmer months.

We don't offer wedding packages or set pricing as everyone's vision for their special day is different. Our expert curators can tailor our wedding services to suit you. Make the most of our beautiful location and surrounding estate (which is a former wedding venue by the way) or alternatively we travel nationally and internationally for weddings.

WEDDING FAQ'S
CONSULTATION
We will get to know a little bit more about you and discuss your vision for your big day and your hair. We will ask you about your venue, guests, theme and flowers etc to get an idea of your whole day. This can be done in person, over the phone or via our wedding consultation form. From this we can provide you with a quote for our services.
REHEARSAL
This appointment is the perfect opportunity for you and your stylist to define your hair vision for the big day. It is a great idea to bring lots of inspiration images to your rehearsal and you can try out a number of looks. Rehearsals usually take place at The Old Coach House, but we can travel if you prefer. We have popped some tips for your hair trial below in our FAQ's.

After your hair trial your stylist can give you more details on how much time they will need on the day. We can discuss a schedule with you and answer any questions you may have so that your special day goes smoothly.
THE BIG DAY
Your big day is finally here and we will be on hand to make your hair vision come to life. All of our stylists are experienced in wedding hair, giving you peace of mind that your wedding day will go smoothly.

REHEARSAL APPOINTMENT
What happens at my rehearsal?
A rehearsal will give you a chance to get to know your hair stylist, work out the details and timings for the day, and play around with potential looks.
Where do rehearsals take place?
Rehearsals usually happen in our space (The Old Coach House). However we can travel for trials if required. Additional costs will be incurred.
Do I have to have a rehearsal?
You do not have to have a rehearsal. However if you do not see our curators for your regular hair services or if you have lots of ideas a hair rehearsal can be a very good investment. The last thing you want is to wait until your wedding day to realise that the style you've been dreaming of won't work with the texture/thickness of your hair.
When should I wash my hair before my rehearsal?
Please wash your hair the day before your rehearsal. Please arrive for your rehearsal with your hair down, naturally styled and product free. Please do not straighten or curl your hair before you attend your appointment.
What should I bring to my rehearsal?
Please bring any photos of styles you love to show your hair stylist. Please also bring your veil and hair accessories. It is also a good idea to bring a picture of your wedding dress, so the stylist can get an idea of the neckline.
Do my whole wedding party need a rehearsal?
This is totally at your discretion. Your bridal party are more than welcome to send across any inspiration images before the big day if you do not wish to have a rehearsal for them.

When do I pay for my rehearsal?
We will add the cost of your rehearsal to the final invoice, which will be sent to you within 7 working days of your wedding.
TOP TIP
We recommend you have your hair trial in the morning and wear it all day. This way you can see how it falls throughout the day.

DATES AND BOOKING
How far in advance of the wedding date should I book?
We recommend contacting us 9-12 months before your wedding date to start your consultation process. Please do not worry if your wedding day is sooner, we are more than happy to try and accommodate your big day so please get in touch. Wedding hair trials should be booked in for a month or 2 before your wedding day. If you are planning on drastically changing your look, this should be done around 6 months before your wedding and before your trial. If you are having your hair cut/coloured with us, your final cut/colour appointment should be about two weeks before the wedding.
How do I book?
You can contact our front of house team on 01379 650015 or email curatedhair@gmail.com to start the process. We will take a few details from you and send out our wedding consultation form for you to fill out.
Do you take bookings for weddings during the week or on Bank Holidays?
Yes! We are happy to book weddings during the week and on public holidays.
I need to change the date of my wedding; can I reschedule my appointment date?
We will do our absolute best to accommodate any date/time changes for your big day. However we cannot guarantee that we will be available for your new date.
When making a booking do I need to pay a deposit?
We request a 20% deposit to hold your wedding day.
When do I need to pay in full?
Your final bill will be sent to you within 7 days of your wedding day.
What areas do you cover?
We are based in Suffolk, however we travel to all areas of the UK and internationally for weddings. Travel and/or accommodation costs will apply.
YOUR
PARTY
Can I book for my whole bridal party?
Yes. We do not have a maximum number of people we can cater for. If you have a large bridal party we will bring along more of our curators to assist. We can work out how many of our team will be needed on your big day during your consultation and rehearsal. Please note if you are having your hair styled at the Coach House a maximum of 4 party members can be styled at any one time.
Can I bring my family to The Coach House on the morning of the wedding?
Of course! Please let us know in advance how many people will be joining you, so we can accommodate them. Please bear in mind that the Coach House is a working salon space and so other clients and curators will be using the space simultaneously. If you would like complete privacy we can book the space out for your party. Additional costs may apply.
Do you do children's hair?
Absolutely, we would be more than happy for you to include children in your bridal party.
YOUR WEDDING DAY
Can I bring my photographer to The Coach House on the morning of the wedding?
Absolutely! If they would like to come and scout the location before your big day this is also fine. If you plan on using the estate for pictures please do let us know in advance.
How long do you need to do my hair on the wedding day?
Timing will be bespoke to you and your hair needs. We can give you a better idea of timings after your hair rehearsal.
What time will you need to start?
This will completely depend on the amount of guests in your bridal party and what time your ceremony is. We will discuss exact timings with you during your consultation and rehearsal. If you prefer a later start we can provide additional team members to assist with hair, thus making the time we need shorter. If you have a start time in mind please do let us know and we can try to accommodate this.
When should I wash may hair before my wedding day?
We usually recommend washing your hair the day before. Please ensure your hair is naturally styled with no product. If your curator feels you need to do something different to the above they will advise at your rehearsal.
Will you be on hand during my wedding day for touchups?
This is totally up to you. We do offer this service and can be on hand for touchups or complete re-styles thought your day if required.

Will I need to pay for any products used?
The cost of any products used will be included within your initial quote.
I have a favourite product can you use it on my hair?
Our trained team have access to products we love and that have proven great results. However we of course welcome you to bring your own products, especially if you have particular requirements or allergies.
What products do you use?
We use a range of products from different brands allowing us to pair you with the perfect product for your hair type. We are partnered with the following brands: L'Oreal, Davines, Schwarzkopf, Showpony and Colour Wow.
